Hi comhairlites and other visitors, welcome to the Turning tides website and blog, run by Cork City Comhairle na nÓg. The website will be focusing on our Turning tides project on suicide prevention and awareness, as well as our Comhairle is general.
This website has just been revamped, and we thought it was only right to give a small update, with more detailed blogs to follow.
Throughout the summer we worked on our videos, signposting and advocacy as these are the three main parts of our project.
We held a launch for our video and soon after had our AGM on October 23rd and we had the biggest turnout so far.
With many, many new members it took us a few weeks to get working. In the past few months we’ve gone on trips and had a Christmas party.
At the moment we are redesigning the website as a small group, with the rest of our members working on the signposting session.
